Walker Valley High School Students Reenact Teen-Driver Crash in Bradley County

BRADLEY COUNTY – Today, October 28, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) is partnering with Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), Bradley County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), Bradley County School System, and numerous local public safety partners to host a press event in support of a student-led crash reenactment hosted by Walker Valley High School to raise awareness for teen distracted driving and destructive decisions.

Walker Valley High School student John Ford coordinated the multi-jurisdictional partnership of state agencies, local law enforcement, and emergency response teams to collaborate for teen driver safety awareness. On Friday, Walker Valley High School students will partake in a surprise performance by student actor volunteers, who will execute a reenactment utilizing the crashed vehicles involved in the 2014 teen-driver incident that injured McMinn County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Gabrel. The reenactment includes participation from many local emergency response personnel.

Please, distribute the following student promotional video via social media: www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3IaaCbLpz4
