Tennessee Highway Patrol to Announce to Announce Seat Belt Fine Increase and Holiday DUI Enforcement Initiative
 
NASHVILLE--  The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security and Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) will partner with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and the Governor's Highway Safety Office to announce the seat belt fine increase that will take effect January 1, 2016.  The THP will also announce the DUI enforcement initiative that will take place across the state throughout the Holiday Season.  The announcement will take place at the THP District Headquarters in Chattanooga on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
