TENNESSEE HIGHWAY SAFETY OFFICE JOINS NASCAR DRIVERS ROSS AND CHAD CHASTAIN FOR “RULE THE ROAD” EVENT ON JUNE 23
Teens, Parents are Invited to Meet, Greet with Chastain Brothers, Georgia Watermelon Queen Charley Lollis
NASHVILLE – On Friday, June 23, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) will join NASCAR drivers Ross and Chad Chastain to kick off a “Rule the Road” event hosted by Alliance Highway Safety at Cumberland University’s Nokes-Lasater Field in Lebanon. During the kickoff, speakers will discuss the importance of driver safety and preparing teenagers for the road. Afterward, Ross and Chad Chastain will offer a “Meet and Greet” opportunity for autograph signings and photos with participants. The event will also feature the 2023 Georgia Watermelon Queen Charley Lollis as she shares free watermelon slices with attendees.
“Rule the Road” is a THSO-funded event free for teens ages 15 to 18 to help improve their driving skills by participating in outdoor traffic safety activities. Teens interested in participating in “Rule the Road” must register online in advance.
