H.A.P.C.O.A. is a national non-profit organization composted of command-level officers from local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the Unites States and Puerto Rico. H.A.P.C. O. A. provides yearly national conferences for training, networking, and establishing relationships and partnerships within the law enforcement profession.
     
 

International Association of Chiefs of Police The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is the world's largest nonprofit membership organization of police executives, with over 16,000 members in 94 different countries. The IACP takes a leading role in the law enforcement community as an advocate for highway safety.
 
 
  National Criminal Justice Association
  National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) is the Washington, D.C.-based special interest group that represents states on crime control and public safety matters. The NCJA's work focuses primarily on helping develop and implement national policy in the criminal justice field and on helping states address criminal justice-related problems.
 
  National Sheriffs' Association
  The National Sheriff's Association, now in its fifty-seventh year of serving the law enforcement/criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field.
 
  National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives
  NOBLE's mission is to ensure equity in the administration of justice in the provision of public service to all communitites, and to serve as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to justice by action.
     
    National Trooper's Coalition
  The National Trooper's Coalition (NTC) was founded in 1977 as a not-for-profit organization chartered in the state of New York. Currently, the NTC has 44,000 members representing 47 state police and highway patrol associations in 44 states. The goals and objectives of the NTC include; A continuing effort to better police services to the public; To stimulate mutual cooperation between state police associations throughout the nation; To elevate the standards of policing throughput the U.S.; To assist member state police associations in achieving the best possible equipment, salaries, pension, benefits, and working conditions; To provide a vehicle through which state police associations may disseminate factual data; The manner in which these goals and objectives are accomplished on a day-to-day basis includes: mutual aid, shared information, interaction with other organizations, federal legislation, speakers/seminars, and monitoring police products.
 
 
Police Executive Research Forum
  The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) is a national membership organization of progressive policy executives from the largest city, county and state law enforcement agencies. PERF is dedicated to improving policing and advancing professionalismthrough research and involvement in public policy debate.
