GHSO LAW ENFORCEMENT LIAISON CAMPAIGN/REPORTING WEBSITE CHANGES

WELCOME TO THE “NEW” LAW ENFORCEMENT LIAISON (LEL) PROGRAM WEBSITE!

Due to new National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reporting requirements, the LEL Campaign needed to be reprogammed. NHTSA now requests GHSO to report more specific data tracking on time, dates, media and more. This meant retooling the LEL database to make this possible. The old LEL database was not designed to provide this level of reporting.

We have designed this ezine to assist you in reporting your campaign data in the “New” system. Of course if you need any assistance call Spence at 1.865.805.2115, 1.800.99BELTS (2.3587), or email TTSRS@utk.edu.

It’s a HUGE learning curve for all of us. Don't stress call TTSRS!

CAMPAIGN REPORTING “GETTING STARTED”

Tip: Print this Ezine to assist you while reporting.

Tip: We have discovered several issues already. We are keeping a log of these in the “Known Issues” section. Please take a look at these to see if your problem is already listed.

1. Click “Campaign Reporting” on the menu bar
2. Select your agency from the pull-down menu

  • Your agency address will populate; however, your agency head and their email may appear as unknown. If this happens, send us their information at TTSRS@utk.edu.
  • You can still complete your agency reporting even if your agency head information is missing.
  • If your agency address is incorrect, please send us that as well.
3. Click the “Continue” button

Campaign Reporting

  4. Select your campaign e.g. Booze It and Lose It (BILI)

5. We know it looks different but it’s really easy. All you need to do is select the tabs for the reporting component you conducted. For instance, if it was a regular Patrol, input your data in this component.

  • If you did a Sobriety Checkpoint, click on that tab
  • If you did a Saturation Patrol, click on that tab
  • You can put agency data in all three components or just one

6. As soon as you complete a component, click the green “Submit Activity Report button. Your data will be recorded in the database (you may complete as many reports per component as needed).

  • If you get interrupted during data entry, just click the green button “Submit Activity Report to save your work. When you return pick up where you left off.

Note: if at any point in the data entry process you need help, please call Spence at 1.865.805.2115, 1.800.99BELTS (2.3587), or email TTSRS@utk.edu.

7. To view your most recently submitted report click the maroon button “View Report History at bottom right hand corner.

To view your reporting history go to MyGHSO Menu and click on "Agency Reporting".

Congratulations you have completed your agency’s campaign entry on the new GHSO LEL website!

While you’re on the LEL site, check out the MyGHSO Menu section. Here you can create your MyGHSO account. You will not only use this for LEL campaign reporting but the same user name and password will be your training site log-in as well. You can go ahead and sign up now and on future campaigns you will be one step ahead.

After you Create Your Account and Log-In you will be able to view and control your personal information and view your campaign reporting data.

Again, if at any point in data entry process you need help, please call Spence at 1.865.805.2115, 1.800.99BELTS (2.3587), or email TTSRS@utk.edu.

If we all work together we will continue to keep Tennessee at the top of Law Enforcement Reporting technology in Southeast Region (maybe the nation).

We thank you for your cooperation in this new endeavour!
